Many feel that the
reason reality television has become so popular is that Americans
potentially have become more ignorant over the years. Nowadays kids
aren’t reading as many books or listening to the radio, they’re stuck
in front of their television sets, waiting to see who gets kicked off
survivor. The quick paced, real life, in your face type of lifestyle is
what is popular these days and it’s scary to think where it’s going to
lead us. Have ratings become more important then the way society
interacts with one another? There is definitely a bond between what is
seen on television how society reacts thereafter. Whether it’s seeing
violent images or just seeing how a person reacts to a particular
situation on a reality TV show.
