This is my home page. I'm a junior at the University of Southern Maine. I'm a French major and an Educational Studies/Classical Studies double minor. When I graduate (hopefully Spring 2002), I plan on teaching French to elementary or high school students - I'm not quite sure yet.
I am originally from Waterville, Maine. I've lived there as long as I can remember. My parents, Wayne and Laura, are both retired and now enjoy the finer things in life. I have two sisters - Kimberly and Kerrie. Thanks to them, I have two nephews (Jacob and Parker James) and one niece (Paige). I graduated from Waterville Senior High School in 1998.
I have a boyfriend, Lucas, with whom I have been loving life since August of 1999. He's also a junior here at USM; he's a Media Studies major and an English minor. To see some cute pictures of us, click here.
Some hobbies of mine are shopping, going out to eat, arts and crafts, cooking, watching the Today Show every morning and playing board games. Some random things I enjoy in life are ladybugs, dragonflies, bumble bees and butterflies, most types of music, my pet beta fish, Mannie, my family pets Sabrina (the dog) and Popcorn (the cat), the beanie baby collection I share with my mom and her best friend to whom I fondly refer as "Aunt Mary," all the stuffed animals Lucas has bought for me, spending time with family and friends and Thursday nights at Gritty Mc Duff's in the Old Port ($6 pitcher night rules!).
Below are some links to my work in EDU 300 - Media and Technology, one of the classes required for completion of the Educational Studies Minor here at the University of Southern Maine.
