Welcome!
Simplicity is a style in life. For the purpose
of this web page, I will adopt that style. On the Journal
Page you will find summaries and opinions of some of the articles
I have read during the course of this class, Media and Technology.
These
entries are not meant to be a form of dissertation, merely observations
and personal opinions. |

One topic of interest that is near and dear to my heart is entertainment.
I'm not talking about the type that happens in front of a television, but
the real live variety. Whether it's going to a sporting event or going
to an opera, live entertainment not only brings us pleasure, but also serves
as a lesson in life. There are people, called entertainers, that have committed
their lives in service of this form of education. Drama, Art, Music, dance,
and any physical form of motion have all made their way into school curriculums.
Even the Maine Learning results
include forms of the arts as a necessary developmental strategy in the
successful students' education. This will be more of a topic on my instructional
page.

| Who am I? It's simple, really. A person. I was born in
Chester, Pennsylvania and slowly moved up the east coast until I arrived
in Maine at the young and tender age of 8. I was married and divorced here,
have two children, a dog and a cat. My past is concrete, my future is anybody's
guess and I live in the present with a PMA (positive mental attitude).
That's all I can ask for. But to find out more, click on my personal
page. |
