The plant pictured above, rapeseed, could produce an estimated 15 million gallons of biodiesel per year in Maine.

In March, 2004 the University of Southern Maine took a step in the right direction by choosing BIODIESEL!  Students voted 5:1 in favor of paying $1/student/year fee to cover the incremental cost for running the shuttles on B20 biodiesel.
