Introduction In the classroom with supervision, students will be required to review a presentation on the Internet.  I have also provided a summery page of the presentation.  From there they will take an interactive online quiz.  Upon completion of the quiz they may view other children sites I also have on the internet.
Designer My name is Susan McPhail, I am a Junior and a Fine Arts major at the University of Southern Maine.  I belong to the Russell Scholars Program here.  I plan on becoming an Elementary Art Teacher.  I have lived in Maine my whole life except for the Semester of my Sophomore year.  I went on a National Exchange to Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.

Intended Audience First Grade Students in an Art Class
Goals and Objectives Students will learn how art and Computers can be used together.  The outcome of this assignment is to have the students Learn and apply the Primary and Secondary colors.
Prior knowledge/ Experiences Students have been learning about the Color wheel in class with activity's and looking at famous works of art.  They also have experience with working on computers and with the world wide web.
Complex Thinking Skills Organize (Presentation, Summery then quiz)   Classify (put colors in Primary and Secondary)   Deduce (Students can conclude that a primary color makes a secondary)    Problem Solve (Taking the quiz they can learn the correct answers by getting some wrong)     Experiment (they are experimenting with the computer)     Decide (They need to decide which answer to chose when taking the test.)
Expectations Students will learn the Color wheel and how to apply the primary and secondary colors. They will also learn how to navigate a simple presentation program and though children education sites.
